The Edelmann 80235 Power Steering Pressure Hose has mixed reviews. While some customers were content and mentioned that it was in a new condition and went into their vehicle without any problem, others noted that the hose popped within a week of the installation, left them stranded and created a mess in their engine bay. Another customer shared their experience of noticing the messed-up threads upon receiving it, which eventually led to stripping the threads that left the steel fitting threads in the cast iron gearbox. They had to order another hose from the auto parts store and make many rounds around the town to find a new one and a special tap. Another buyer pointed that the nut on the gearbox end is too short to make a seal by compressing the o-ring.
