Product Details
- Intercom, I288 Glue Machine Buckleguy is the the USA distributor for Intercom Srl, the leading Italian manufacturer of water-based leather adhesives and spray equipment. Key benefits: Non-toxic, eco-friendly formula: water-based adhesive, safe for shop use. Efficiency: spray application dramatically cuts both glue time and glue usage versus hand-applying. These machines typically pay for themselves within the first few months of use. Scalable: used in 1-person shops to 10,000-person production facilities. See additional benefits below. Buckleguy runs these machines daily in its own warehouse operation, and are consistently ranked as #2 highest-ROI equipment investment on the floor. Switching to spray is one of the clearest efficiency upgrades available. Machine: I288 Features: Electrical vacuum bench to contain adhesive spray, and a compressed air system to force glue through the lines. Adjustable legs to make desired height. Equipped with the G6 spray gun, you can achieve glue spraying widths from 3mm to 50mm. Adjustments of spray system include: amount of adhesive, width of spray jet, distribution thickness. Choice of using foot pedal or gun trigger. Stainless steel glue tank with 10 liter bag capacity. Glue in bag is a huge benefit compared to pouring glue into a tank. Glue in bag allows you to 1) use a bigger percentage of glue, 2) keeps dirt and other particles out of the system, 3) no contact with air which can alter the glues properties, 4) no mess or clean up, just replace the bag when empty. A jet of air is released immediately before and after spraying to keep the tip clean. Specifications: Table Size: 43 x 22 inches (109cm x 57cm) Gun: G6 - glue spraying width from 0.1 to 2 inches (3mm to 50mm) Electrical: Volt: 220V/230V Hertz: 50/60Hz Does not come with plug cap. Must have an electrician install correct cap for your outlets. If you want to use 110V you will need a converter. Compressor: All you need is a basic hardware store base level compressor. Vacuum suction capacity: 2400 m3/h Weight: 210 lbs Sold separately: Intercom Ecostick Glue Replacement filter sheets Replacement tubing Tips: For effective suction of the vacuum, it is recommended to replace the filter when dirty. Use stiff metal or plastic grates with a filter on top so that you can move completed glue jobs on and off the table to increase productivity rather than pulling off each individual glued part from the table. Glue can remain in the machine tubes for up to 6 months. Though we recommend running warm water through it if you don't expect to use the system again for up to 3 months. If it is less than that you will have no issues coming right back to work. The ventilation system on the back can be hooked up to a dryer vent style pipe or it can capped with a filter. 99% of adhesive is caught in the table filter so the vent on the back is generall
