Trimax Hitch Balls TMB335 Editorial Review

The Trimax TMB335 Interchangeable Multi-Ball Hitch Ball System in Chrome seems like a great idea at first glance, allowing users to swap between different hitch balls without needing multiple hitches for different trailers. However, the actual customer experience has been somewhat mixed. One reviewer gave it as a gift and the recipient said they loved it but wasn't sure if it had been used yet. Unfortunately, another user had difficulty using the product the first time they tried to use it on their boat - the ball wouldn't slide all the way down, indicating that something was machined incorrectly. They also noted that there's no hole for a pin to be used as a backup if the nut comes loose on the bolt. Overall, it seems like there are some quality control issues with this product that cause problems for some users, making it difficult to recommend.
