Horror Editorial Review
Junji Ito's "Dissolving Classroom Collector's Edition" is a great addition to any manga collection. As expected, the manga is fun, gross and spooky. The story's transition from darkness to light is masterful. However, the hardcover version falls short of expectations. The cover art is not up to the usual standard, especially compared to Viz Manga's version. The paper feels thin, and there are no inside cover images. Despite these drawbacks, the newly colored pieces, especially the front and back covers, are a welcomed addition.
