Virgil Poetry Editorial Review

The Aeneid, translated by Shadi Bartsch, has received overwhelming positive feedback from customers, who praise the clear and crisp English translation that reads like an original English epic. Bartsch is commended for producing a line-for-line translation of the Aeneid from Latin, no easy feat given Latin's concision. Customers highly recommend this translation to anyone interested in this classic literature. The book is noted to have extensive front/back matter, while some reviewers wish that section headings were included in the book. Some negative feedback has been received regarding print quality, with some pages being difficult to read or not readable at all.
